"DAY IN THE LIFE" DOCUMENTARIES

Definition:
A documentary designed to clarify for juries, opposing counsel and insurance adjustors the progress and status of a subject, and their efforts in completing the commonplace tasks and activities of everyday life.

Purpose:
Documentation of the actual sights and sounds of the subject provide a powerful, cost-effective tool appropriate for trial presentation, mediation or even pre-filing.

Rules of evidence state that probative value must not be substantially outweighed by the danger of unfair prejudice, confusion of the issues or misleading the jury (prejudicial impact).
"Day in the life" films produced by Visual Evidence focus on trial admissibility as its end result. Professionalism and compassionate demeanor ensure rapport with subjects which is crucial to the most effective presentation. Subjects are treated with utmost respect and compassion allowing them to feel at ease, yielding the most accurate and effective documentation possible.
