01-02 Visual Focus

Our production department and technical support staff assisted our clients in resolving some of their cases.

* 7-figure settlement - In a negligent security case, VEI produced a settlement documentary involving a woman who lost her new husband after he was shot and killed at an apartment complex that did not have a working security gate.

A paralyzed former Pahokee trucker received a $14.6 million judgment. VEI provided poignant day in the life footage at trial that let the jury see the client’s true pain and suffering.

$5.3 million settlement - VEI produced a settlement documentary in this negligent security/wrongful death case. The plaintiff was murdered by a gunman in an Orlando apartment complex. The companies in charge failed to provide adequate security.

$8.5 million jury verdict - VEI produced a settlement documentary for a woman who died after delayed abdominal surgery. The woman was admitted to Miami's Palmetto General Hospital with severe abdominal pain. Doctors delayed treatment, she went into shock as well as respiratory and cardiac arrest.

$20 million settlement - VEI produced a settlement documentary of a 6-year old girl who entered a Florida hospital through the emergency room. This young girl had problems with her airways as a result of thick mucus. She was in the hospital for several days and woke up with labored breathing, expressed severe anxiousness and congestion. After continuous problems she awoke again coughing up large amounts of mucus. She had a major arrest almost three days after she was admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately this young, beautiful six year old girl suffered a hypoxic brain injury and remained severely damaged.
